HabitLens ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our mobile application.

2. Data Collection and Storage

We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. HabitLens is a local-first application. All your habit data, logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that store your habit history.

3. AI Features

When you request an AI explanation for a missed habit, the application sends only the following anonymized data to the AI provider (Google Gemini API):

  • The name of the habit (e.g., "Morning Run")
  • The current streak count
  • The time of the missed log

This data is transient and is used solely to generate the recovery plan. It is not used to train models or identify you.

4. Third-Party Services

We use no third-party analytics or tracking services. The only external connection is to the Google Gemini API for generating text explanations when explicitly triggered by you.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
